How Aquaria Works?
To understand how this technology works, you need to know the fundamentals of rain. The clouds floating overhead contain water vapor and cloud droplets, or small drops of condensed water. These dropets are way too small to fall as precipitation, but they are large enough to form visible clouds. Water is continually evaporating and condensing in the sky. If you look closely at a cloud you can see some parts disappearing (evaporating) while other parts are growing (condensation). This game of appearing and disappearing goes on but does not rain unless precipitation happens.
For precipitation to happen, first, tiny water droplets must condense on even tinier dust, salt or smoke particles, which act as a nucleus in the sky. Water droplets may grow as a result of additional condensation of water vapor when the particles collide. If enough collisions occur to produce a droplet with a fall velocity which exceeds the cloud updraft speed, then it will fall out of the cloud as precipitation. There is always water in the atmosphere.Clouds are, of course, the most visible manifestation of atmospheric water, but even clear air contains water. Water vapor or aqueous vapor is the 'gas phase' of water. It is one state of water within the hydrosphere. Unlike other forms of water, water vapor is invisible.
Technologies to extract water from air/atmosphere is not new. It has been around for many years but , has never been successful. All the techniques used till now was based on condensing the air to extract the moisture out and this amounts to chilling the air to very low temperature which required very high energy and would work only if the humidity is quite high like 65 to 70%. So such Air to Water Making machines does not work everywhere and they mainly depend on high humidity to work efficiently. These techniques also consumes very high power.

Rain Tunnel Technology, technically called as Confined Hypersonic Precipitation is a patented technology invented at the Centre for Advanced Research and Development (CARD), Bengaluru, India. The Rain Tunnel Technology works on the principle of creating clouds and seeding it with Hypersonic precipitation to form rain in a tunnel just like how it happens in nature. The atmosphere inside the Rain Tunnel is created for formation of rain, without involving very low temperatures. Rain Tunnel's performance depends on the atmospheric water vapor pressure, temperature, altitude and wind flow/velocity etc, and not humidity. There is an on-Board computer that controls the complex operation of creating the right weather conditions inside the chambers. Because of this the Rain Tunnel can produce water even with 10 ppm (parts per million) of water present in the air around us. That is why it needs less energy and is efficient even in places with less humidity. The water (rain) is continuously collected in a food grade tank and treated with a 9 stage filtration process before it is dispensed for drinking. So the process in Rain Tunnel is entirely different from anything available anywhere.

Aquaria, using a technology called Rain Tunnel captures the water vapor in the atmosphere and guides it to a specially built chamber called Confined Cloud Chamber that has a controlled climatic condition, where the Temparature, Humidity, Saturation Vapor Pressure and the Water Partial Pressure Ratio is all accurately controlled with Artificial Intelligence by an On-Board Computer. The air from the atmosphere is collected and cleaned up with particulate matter filters and sterilized using hard Ultra Violet (UV) filteration. The air is then subjected to a special environment inside the chamber to enable the water vapor to aglomerate and form a cloud. Here is where AI technology comes into play. The patented Hypersonic Precipitator uses extremely high frequency sound waves in the range of many million cycles per second to produce nano water particles. The invisible water particles at this nanometer size can freez at temperatures as high as 10 - 20 degree C under specific conditions created inside the chamber. This leads to rapid growth of nanoscopic ice crystals by vapor deposition at the cost of very small amount of water from the cloud that has formed inside the chamber. Under these conditions, precipitation starts and rain begins inside the Active Cloud Chamber of the device.
