FINE PARTICLE SHORTWAVE THROMBOLYTIC AGGLOMERATION REACTOR [FPSTAR]
STEP 1: AGGLOMERATION
The influent is steered through the inner chamber of the FPSTAR reactor and bombarded with high intensity shortwaves of the required frequency and wave characteristics. It is a continuous process where fine particles up to the size 15 - 20 nanometers agglomerate. The agglomerate or clot loses some of its characteristics and becomes completely hydrophobic. Therefore, making it easier to handle in the subsequent stages.

STEP 2: SOLID-LIQUID SEPARATION
The 'clots' can be easily separated from the water using specialized technology. Depending on the nature of the solids and the ability to recover useful materials; a suitable technology is chosen for separation. In different cases sedimentors, filter press, screen press, screw conveyors and other technologies or combination of technologies can be used for solid - liquid separation.

STEP 3: FILTERATION
